Run to the Sunnyside!

The Fun Run is a beloved annual event where Sunnyside Elementary students walk, run or roll in their wheelchair to raise funds for school programs. Participants can choose to gather pledges for the number of laps they complete, or just to run for fun and physical fitness.

This year's Fun Run will take place on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at Aptos Park, 147 Aptos Ave., from 10 am–12 pm. Registration begins at 10 am, and the Fun Run is at 11am.

Pledge sheets will be sent home with each student, or you can download a form here: English | Spanish | Chinese. Alternatively, students can automate their pledges with our personalized 99 Pledges page.

Whether you come out to walk, skip, roll or run or just want to hang out and support our school community, we hope to see you on April 23 for the Sunnyside Fun Run!
