Schedule

For the 2022–2023 school year, Before Care will run from 8–9:15 am. For five days a week you pay a flat monthly fee.

For the 2022–2023 school year,​ the After School Program will run from 3:45–6:30 pm, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and run from 2:30–6:30 pm on Wednesdays. Enrollment is now open for five (5) days a week; two- or three-day options will open in early August.

Sunnyside Before Care

The Mission YMCA operates its program for Sunnyside students before school from 7:30–9:30 am. Students may enroll in Before Care separately from the After School Program for an additional monthly fee. Students may opt to enroll in and pay for Before Care alone.

Registration

Enrollment in the Sunnyside Before and After School Programs are limited for the upcoming school year, but will continue on an ongoing, rolling basis until all slots are filled.

Subsidized Slots 

There are a limited number of subsidized slots for the Aftercare program. The requirement to be considered for a subsidized slot is a commitment that the child must attend the after school program five days/week and stay until 6:15 p.m.
​Priority for subsidized slots will be given based on:
  • ​Students who are identified by the school’s administrative staff and teachers as potentially benefiting from academic support after school.
  • Annual household income​.
  •  ​Financial and demonstrated need.
  • There are no fees for students who are eligible for free and reduced lunch.
